Metamorphose

An extension of Memento Mori, Sandman applied media to her Van Dyke Brown photograms, and to color xeroxes of them, to create wraithlike skeletal figures that float in space. These works confirm Sandman’s growing interest in representation and speak to the artist’s ability to move forward.
